There are two identical coils each having 15 turns and radius 5cm and carrying current of 0.5 A. (a) If the two coils are kept Co Axially such that their centres are 15cm apart and currents are in same direction, calculate the net magnetic field i) centre of each coil ii) at a point midway between the two coils (b) Solve question (a) considering the coils carrying current in opposite directions (c) The coils are kept perpendicular to each other and their centres are coinciding. Calculate the net magnetic field at the centre!

Try racking your brains for this one xD

rvc (rvc):

tough

rvc (rvc):

a) i)12.568/30

a) i) is wrong!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

draw a small diagram wil ya?!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait.. lemme calculate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

show me your method will ya?!

rvc (rvc):

4pi*0.5/15 for i)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No your answer is wrong.. there are two coils.. remember?.. you first have to draw it!
