thi is trippy man :D. Magnesium got reduced and oxygen got oxidised. I mean, if the equation was the other way round, then oxygen would be the oxidising agent and magnesium the reducing agent, but now, i really have no clue ;/

Mg +2 O2 --->Mg is by itself so it has 0 charge so Mg went from +2 to zero , if im correct then Mg is reduction
