Atomic Masses: Ca= 40g/mol; Cl= 35.5 g/mol; H= 1g/mol; O= 16g/mol a) Step 1: What is the molar mass of CaCl2? b) Step 2: Convert grams of CaCl2 to moles of CaCl2. c) step 3 convert ml to liters d) Step 4: Divide the number of moles of CaCl2 by the number of liters in the solution Answer. a) 40 + (35*2) = 110 b) 65.0 * (1/110) = 0.59 c) 250/1000 = 0.25 d) 0.59/0.25 = 2.36
