No, @evilbrand97 hydroxide is NOT acidic, in fact, it's quite basic. Therefore, if you have less hydroxide your solution is more acidic.

Yes. Strong bases include compounds such as NaOH, or KOH, NaNH\(_2\)...while acids are HCl, HBr, H\(_2\)SO\(_4\), etc., the list goes on.
