Which statement correctly explains whether or not this equation is a balanced equation? KMnO4 + HCl → KCl + MnCl2 + H2O + Cl2 A. The equation is not balanced because the number of atoms of each element on the left is not equal to their numbers on the right. B. The equation is not balanced because there are not any numbers in front of the compounds. C. The equation is balanced because it has equal amounts of reactants and products. D. The equation is balanced because it has one of each compound.
@mossyfish @darkest_midnight
hmm... I'm thinking A... but I'm waiting for someone else to help on this because I don't want to give you the wrong answer.
okay
yeah i agree i think its A
I believe it's incorrect because of the imbalance. You see that the amount of atoms on either side don't equal up to eachother. so I believe it's A
umhmm...okay probably right
i double checked it and that's what makes sense to me. @mossyfish where are you? XD
did you get it? :D
iam going to see if its right
i hope it is...
im going with your answer
