So what is your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

According to the VSEPR theory, w1hat accounts for waters bond angle of 104.5?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

The lone pair repulsions.

According to the VSEPR theory. lone-lone pair repulsion > bond pair - lone pair repulsion > bond bond pair repulsion. In the $$\huge H_2O $$ molecule the lone pair of electrons on the $$\huge O$$ atom cause the the bond pair to constrict and move away due to the force of repulsion. Thus the angle is decreased to $$\huge 104.5^0$$
