First 2s, then 3p, in K and Ca next filling orbital is 4s, then 3d
Energy of 4s is lower than 3d

the 3d has more energy as compared to 4s.. and like wise it is 4d has more energy than 5s.. and so on
how do you know which is higher ?
did u study the bohr model?
yes but it doesnt really make sense to me
As the 3d sublevel becomes populated with electrons, the relative energies of the 4s and 3d fluctuate relative to one another and the 4s ends up higher in energy as the 3d sublevel fills
