I really never done this. I would just split the shape into triangle and rectangle. But using 3 different recatngles.. then idk, sorry.

The math content of this question leads up to "Riemann Sums" in Calculus, so the problem must be done using "inscribed rectangles." We'll add up the areas of the three "inscribed rectangles" to approximate the total yellow area.
