What volume of 0.86M table sugar (C12H23O12) has 50 grams of sugar in it?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

use the molarity formula to solve for L: \(M=\dfrac{n_{solute}}{L_{solution}}\)

Thank you. I was having trouble with the moles of solute. For anyone else who needs help with this equation here is how I finally solved it: Moles of solute is found by dividing the grams by the molar mass of C12H23O12 (359.3038g/mol) \[Liters = (50g \div 359.3038 g/mol) \div 0.86M = 0.162L\]

nice job
