nitrogen has a triple covalent bond... since nitrogen must complete its octet.. and it is not possible for it to lose electrons.. it forms a triple covalent bond.. also it's a non-metal which makes it all the more obvious for having a covalent bond.. the diagram would be..|dw:1397027448121:dw|
