OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the area of a sector with a central angle of 32 degrees and a radius of 8.5 millimeters. Round to the nearest tenth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[A=\pi r^{2} \frac{\theta}{360}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[A=\frac{ n }{ 360 }\pi r^2\] where n is the # of degrees in the central angle of the center. So, if you plug the numbers in then you get A=(32/360)(pi)(8.5)^2

OpenStudy (johnweldon1993):

Right so @jasminenicolecx retriceyou need to do with @twvogels equation provided... is replace \(\large \theta\) with 32 and replace \(\large r\) with 8.5 Then solve and you will have your area
