HELP HELP HELP For the given function, find the vertical and horizontal asymptote(s) (if there are any). f(x) = the quantity x squared plus four x minus three divided by the quantity x minus six IS IT -6 AND 0??
Is your equation \(\LARGE f(x)=\frac{x^2+4x-3}{x-6}\)?
To find the vertical asym, set the denominator equal to 0.
okay so -6
Yup, and I think there are no horizontal asym..
So just a vertical at x=-6
Nope, at x=6, not -6
how come there is no horizontal?
oh i see
could you help me with this one.. pleaseeee Using the given zero, find all other zeros of f(x). -2i is a zero of f(x) = x4 - 5x2 - 36
Give me time to figure it out.. sorry not good with imaginary solutions..
these are the answers 2i, 6i, -6i 2i, 3i, -3i 2i, 6, -6 2i, 3, -3
maybe @hartnn CAN HELP
Sorry, caps
oh it's okay no worries
when co-efficients of a polynomial are real, then complex solutions always occur in pairs. like if 2+3i is a solution, then 2-3i will also be a solution. since its given that -2i is a zero, can you figure out another zero ?
