OpenStudy (anonymous):
better yet do you know the quadratic formula?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[x=(-b \pm \sqrt{b ^{2}-4ac})\div2a\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
nope just started this
OpenStudy (anonymous):
the equations from c and d and plug them into this.
youll get the x-intercepts.

C. √8^2 -4(2)(5)= 4.89
4.89-(-8)=12.89
12.89/(2*2)=3.2225
if you look this is not the same as your graph which therefore leaves you with D
