How do you write net ionic equations?

OpenStudy (stmoney):

Break apart your ionic compounds into ions, put them together on the opposite side (switching the positive and negative charges they came from) and then putting them together. If you form a solid, liquid, or gas, they are not in their ion form on the product side. Any ions left behind on the reactant and product side get crossed off.
