How do I find the molecular weight of Cs3PO4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay you add the weight of each one together for the molecular weight of the whole. I can't remember the scientific term for it but an example would be H2O. H = 1 (i looked at the periodic table) and O = 16 but there are two of them so i simply double it giving me (2x16) 32. My molecular weight it 1 + 32 = 33g

Does that help?

Thanks!

@abber_dabber would it be the same if it were \[Cs _{3}PO _{4}\]?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like would I do O *4 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes. You would have 1 of Cs, 1 of P and 4 of O.

Thanks!
