How do i check if a molecule is coplanar?

see if the carbon atoms are SP2 or Sp they the coplanirty is more and if its Sp3 hybridization it cant be in coplanar as Sp3 is having Td shape where as sp2 and sp are not :)

itr can done by rotating as they have also mentioned in the same context

so the condition is the covalent bond should be sp2 or sp1 for all the atoms to lie on one plane?

but in sp2 hybridization, the rotation is restricted so how can rotation cause them to be in the same plane

sorry if Carbon Sp2 and Sp is attached with Sp3 carbo to the second position C|dw:1398855751421:dw| with Sp3 hybridization then u wont see the carbons to be in the same plane
