For 2 A + B = C, we’ve determined the following experimental data: Trial [A] (M) [B] (M) Initial rate (M/s) 1 0.0100 0.0100 1.62 x 10-5 2 0.0200 0.0100 3.24 x 10-5 3 0.0100 0.0200 6.48 x 10-5 Using this information, determine the rate law for this reaction, find the reaction order for A and B, and find the overall reaction order.

i did another problem where it was ___, but i don't understand how to do it

Keep one reactant constant and find the change for the other one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For example if you take experiment 1 and 2, you see that conc (B) does not change, but A changes so if divide experiment 2 by 1, U get the order on concentration raised in A and the relative rate change 2/1 = for A ( 0.1/0.05)^n = (8/4 * 10^-3) which means 2^n = 2 solve for n that would give the order of reactant A
