Simplify

\[\cot \theta(\cos \theta \tan \theta + \sin \theta)\]

@iPwnBunnies @AravindG

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I shall be using A in the place of theta cotA(cosA.sinA/cosA + sinA) = cotA (sinA + sinA) = cotA(2sinA) = cosA/sinA x 2sinA = 2cosA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the last step... how did you get cos A/ sin A X 2sinA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

an how did you get the final result.\[\frac{ \cos A }{ \sin A}(2\sin A)= 2cosA\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cotA = cosA/sinA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and in the last step sinA is cancelled in numerator and denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh! I get it! Thank You! :D
