What is the effect of adding potassium nitrate and calcium nitrate to separate samples of saturated calcium carbonate?

I believe this is a selective precipitation question. Initially you have some amount of KNO3 + CaNO3 and your trying to saturate CaCO3 by add more of one substance. Using le chatelier's principle we can see that if we change some amount, aka moles or molarity, in this equilibrium we can control the products or reactants.
