Is anyone willing to help me in my chemistry help!!! :) someone who is really smart and know a lot about hydrogen ions & acidity???

OpenStudy (aaronq):

can't help you if you dont post your doubt/question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (aaronq):

use the relationship: \(pH=-log[H^+]\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

if you havent worked with logarithms, to find \([H^+]\), you rearrange the equation to: \([H^+]=10^{-pH}\)

OpenStudy (aaronq):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think this one is B, is that right?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

xD Any more questions? Sorry. Didn't get here in time.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pH=-log[H+] pOH=-log[OH-] 10^-14=[H+][OH-] Those 3 equations might help.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alkaline

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think this one might be acidic? sorry I need to get these right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dang it I was wrong!! haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well the pH is 10... I'm pretty sure that makes it an base. 10 doesn't eqal 7, so it isn't neutral. By elimination, I'm pretty sure it's an alkaline.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thnx!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Acid Base titration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have any more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pH=-log[H+]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because as stated before, Keq=10^-14=[H+][OH-]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It can't be 10^7M. That'd give you a negative pH.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mind to help me on a little more? like 10?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sorry, I'm a little behind, and I need to catch up with school.
