Information given to me; - crude salicylic acid= 1g, containing 0.2% Alizarin Yellow R - (not sure if this is important, but we add 25ml of water) - activated 1g of charcoal has an area of 800m2 - area of contact of Ali Yellow R is approximately 200A2 (A=1x10-10m) - alizarin yellow R (M.W. of 287.23, formula isC13H9N3O5)
