The measures of the sides of ΔPQR are given in the diagram. What is m∠P, correct to two decimal places?
@dpaInc
where's the diagram?
it doesnt have one
or sorry it does ill draw it
|dw:1400538206998:dw| are there any other info. on the diagram? for example, length of sides, or measure of other angles? draw in those measurements and we can get started...

sorry it took so long, the internet when down here

Using trigonometry you can solve for the angle since you have the sides
so since it is obvious which sides is larger and the hypotenuse we will use the SINE function to solve for the missing angle
\[sine \theta = Opposite/Hypotenuse\]
Plug in for what you know and solve for what you do not know and remember that you can find the angles of a triangle knowing the sides of triangle
the hypotenuse is 4.25 and the opposite is 4.71?
No the hypotenuse is the largest side of the triangle and the opposite means opposite to the angle which you are trying to find so that is correct it is 4.71 units
the hypotenuse is 5.79
correct
0.72 is that i got
The angle is ? and sine is a constant function so to solve for just ? we need to take the inverse of Sine to get rid of it on the left and place it on the right
\[Sin (?)=O/H\]
