What happens if you constantly increase the temperature on a solid gas or plasma i.e.) if you infinitely increase the temperature on a gas.

OpenStudy (sidsiddhartha):

the order of phase is =solid, liquid, gas, plasma now if u infinitely increase the temp on a gas then it will change into plasma

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you increase the temperature of a gas, its particles (atoms or molecules) will speed up. If it is in a closed container, the pressure will also increase.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you increase the temperature enough the electron will be stripped away from atoms and the nuclei will have enough energy to come together so that the nuclear forces will overcome the electrostatic repulsion of the positively charge protons to cause the nuclei to fuse forming a new nuclei with the possible release of additional energy (nuclear fusion)
