I will give you a medal!! Please? Find the x-intercepts of the parabola with vertex (1,20) and y-intercept (o,16). Write your answer in this form: (x1,y1),(x2,y2). If necessary, round to the nearest hundredth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vertex us \((1,20)\) means it looks like \[y=a(x-1)^2+20\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the \(y\) intercept is \((0,16)\) then we can solve for \(a\) vial \[a(-1)^2+20=16\] or \[a+20=16\]making \[a=-4\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your parabola is therefore \[y=-4(x-1)^2+20\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is not the end of the question, you still have to find the zeros, but at least you know what to find the zeros of you good from there?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nooot really.. I didn't understand anyof that.. I swear if I pass this test.. I will do anything for you. I am not good with this stuff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(9,0),(-1,0)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im scared to try it cause I dont wanna miss the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it multiple choice?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

noo.. fill in the blank.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

fuuuuuuuuuuuudgee.... it was wrong..

OpenStudy (anonymous):
