Simplify.
@Jackienvdm
Expand both the numerator and denominator. numerator: (u - 2)(u + 2) denominator: u(u - 2u) From here you can cancel out (u-2) to get: \[(u + 2) \div u\] The "u"s cancel out to get: \[2 \div u\]
A. u+ 2, u ≠ 2 B. MU2d.gif u ≠ 2 C. MU2b.gif u ≠ 2, u ≠ 0 D. MU2a.gif u ≠ 0
Oh that's finding the restrictions, not simplifying. Also, I totally simplified it wrong so don't look at that. xD Again, just set the denominator equal to 0. The answer would be C. You can also plug in each answer into the denominator to check.
thank you so much @Jackienvdm im having a lot of trouble i math and i dont really like putting up questions on here cause people just give the answers and dont explain how to do it and thats what i need,is someone to explain it to me
Well I'm glad I could help! (: If you have any more questions, just feel free to tag me and hopefully I'll be able to help you out.
