ie product of the terms upto n.
eg:
3!=3*2*1=6

Good. I believe you are doing a permutations questions. In it P(n,r) represent number of permutations of n objects taken r at a time.

P(n,n)=n!(n-n)!=n!/0!
0! is defined as one.
P(n,n)=n!
Plug in n=4
