I have a question in simplifying an ln function. I have attached it. Any help is appreciated!

\[-2\ln(\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}})\] \[-2\ln((\sqrt{2})^{-1})\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-1 \times -2 \ln (\sqrt{2})\] \[2 \ln (2)^\frac{1}{2}\] \[\ln 2 ^\frac{1\times 2}{2}\] = ln 2

I see what you did, thushananth01. I appreciate how clear you were with your explanations and for your help!
