what is the relationship between the temperature of the solvent and the rate of solution formation of sodium chloride being dissolved in distilled water?

@aaronq

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

Increasing the temperature of a solvent speeds up the movement of its particles.This increase cause more solvent particles to bump into the solute. As a result, solute particles break loose and dissolve faster. aka - The higher the temperature, the greater the rate of dissolving.
