OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES WAIT

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

k ill wait

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

idk i did it the butcher shop way to get a fast answer on a test so i got 23.6

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

MY parents are gonna kill me omg

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol its 10:39 here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ugh i need to do my scantron to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya same here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

too*

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

entering calc 1 and still have yet to memorize law of cosines... i feel so stupid

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well to find the measure of B you need the law of cosines \[\cos(B) = \frac{a^2 + c^2 - b^2}{2ac}\] you know a = 14.1 , c = 20 and b = 8 substitute and calculate the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

19° 34° 64° 127° are the answers

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well if you calculate it out... then you can find the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thansk @campbell_st

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.27 ugh i suck at this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 0.27

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ummm I got cos(B) = 0.948245

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get it ill guess

OpenStudy (anonymous):

guesses on the questions and got 25/60

OpenStudy (anonymous):

guessed *

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well the calculation is \[\cos(B) = \frac{14.1^2 + 20^2 - 8^2}{2 \times 14.1 \times 20}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got that part

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

so you got 0.27 as the answer...?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

\[\cos(B) = \frac{534.81}{564}\]
