Let's say we are given a balanced equation, and are told to find the theoretical yield of one of the products. We are given the molar ratio of the 2 reactants from the balanced equation (1:2) and are given the molarity and volume of the two reactants...but when they are written, the reactant with 2 moles has a molarity and volume given in terms of 1 mole. So would I multiply the resulting mole amount by 2 when determining the limiting reagent?
