When using the Sphere Volume Formula 4/3 x Pie(3.14) x r^3 Can I turn 4/3 into 1.3?
yeah that is rite too...
Yes you can
also you can do like 4*pie*r^3 and divide it by 3....
So... The radius of a sphere is 8 mm. Approximately what is the volume of the sphere? A. 36π mm^3 B. 171π mm^3 C. 385π mm^3 D. 683π mm^3 I'm confused... I did both of those and got these.. 1.3 x 3.14 x 512 = 2089.984 and 4 x 3.14 x 512 / 3 = 2143.57333333333... Where did I go wrong? o_o @paki
hey no need to take pi as it is given in options
?
π problem...
don't include π in your calculation
as this is already in the options...
4/3 * pi * r^3. Dont take pi
1.3 x 512 = 682.66π @CrazyCountryGirl clear now...
also 4 x 512 / 3 =682 66π @CrazyCountryGirl
D? How come we don't use pi?
yeah dont use pie... pie is already there in the options...
Oh! I didn't even look close enough, I didn't notice it. :) I get it now. Thanks! :)
hmmm pleasure... :)
