I'm not sure about the first one, but the second one goes a little something like this: P=102kPa n=mols of ethene gas = 0.56/28.05 R= 8.31 L/mol*K because your using kPa for pressure t=30 degrees C

A) intial: 2 - - - Change -x +2 +x total: -x+2x+x=2x so thats incorrect B) we started with two moles and were decomposed into 2-x+x+x/2= 2+x

B is the answer for your first question because ratio is 2:1 so if 2 moles are ecomposed into what if 1 mole decomposed you get a make a ratio and it would be decomposed into x/2

So... 102*V=0.01996*8.31*30 L Now it's just algebra. Don't forget that your answer will be in liters and your answer is in cm^3.
