Describe, in detail, how to make 2.0 liters of a 1.0 molar HCl solution from a 12.5 molar HCl stock solution.
if u remember @aaronq gave another formula before C1m1= C2m2 it was C1V1= C2V2
So it would be by using that formula?
lol it'll be 0.16 sounds crazy to me
I'm lost.
me 2
is this full question?
It's part of a worksheet but it doesn't have multiple choices so I don't know what they're looking for exactly. I don't understand whether they want me to show work or like a formula. lol
idk if they are asking for volume even
@JFraser
I googled the question and it said something about using M1V1 = M2V2? lol
yeah its same as C1V1=C2V2 lol concentration is molarity
they are same thing
Sorry my lack of knowledge hehe
i didn't know it too lol i mean before
so that means they are asking for volume and i originally did it right according to aaronq's formula
So should I try to do using that formula?
yes
How would I set it up again?
C1V1= C2V2
2.0*1.0= 12.5* X
I was about to put 1.0 first oops lol
So .16
yes sorry i was from my phone =_= and it froze x.x i thought i broke it lol
Thank you
u r welcome :D
