Yes, kinetic energy is moving energy... It asks which of the following is NOT an example of kinetic energy... With that, I would say either nuclear or thermal energy is NOT an example of kinetic energy.

okay, I have been searching and it looks like thermal is kinetic because it is the mix of potential energy with kinetic energy. That narrows it down to nuclear and electric

See, mechanical energy paired with electrical energy is what allows objects to move... So both of those are examples of kinetic energy.

I've had this same question and I put thermal, and it was wrong. Go with nuclear honey. The other two are clearly kinetic (moving)
