is it a 5M(molarity) solution? if so that means there is 5 mol/1L of solution. If you have 2L of solution you would have 10 moles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah @almorgan

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so there's 5 grams?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no 5 moles in 1 L to get grams you will have to multiply (5 mol/1L) X molar mass in grams (23.0Na+35.5Cl)/1 mol= 292.5g for 1 L of solution. and multiply by 2 to get grams for 2L

thanks !!!!
