[03.04]Based on the electronegativity values shown in the table below, which of the following would you expect to form a nonpolar covalent bond when combined? On the Pauling scale periodic table, barium (Ba) is 0.9; chlorine (Cl) is 3.0; hydrogen (H) is 2.1; oxygen (O) is 3.5; lithium (Li) is 1.0; fluorine (F) is 4.0; selenium (Se) is 2.4; sulfur (S) is 2.5 Ba and Cl H and O Li and F Se and S
@iPwnBunnies
Bunnies :3 i would expect last one to give non polar
Yah. If nonmetals with similar electronegativities bond, the covalent bond will be nonpolar.
reason is that when you look at the values for electronegativity you can see pretty big differences in values of A, B and C but in D the difference between those values is just 0.1 not much i would say, thus i'd expect it to be non polar
I have 1 left ^-^
yay lucky guess xD btw OS app's so slow T_T and no chats, how boring
LLoloolol
oh yeah hope you understood :) @lovelyharmonics and we have to write usernames fully here =_= this way i'll memorize all usernames
You don't have to memorize usernames. .-.
~_~ ik but in OS app i have to write them =_=
Oh, that sucks. v-v
ikr x_x
we are walking periodic tables <3
im literally imagining myself being periodic table and walking lmao
Yaasss, and now we're blowing up Harmonics' notifications. ♥ lolol && lmfao
ah yeah my bad <3
