but I think what answer choice your teacher is looking for is vapor pressure

b/c think of the atmospheric pressure as a lid/container, and it's keeping the vapor pressure of the solid at a low amount

if the atmospheric pressure decreases, your lid isn't strong enough to push down on the solid's vapor pressure (which was keeping the solid as..well..a solid), so your solid just turns all into vapor
