4NH3 + 5O2 4NO + 6H2O The molar mass of NH3 is 17.03 g/mol. How many moles of O2 are required to react completely with 2.67 ´ 10–4 g of NH3?

How many moles of ammonia are available?
idk im stick with this is and what i copied and past is all the question has for me to use to get the answer
Can you first find how many moles of ammonia you have? How would you do that?
i literally have no clue. i dont have a teacher becuase my class is online. and im on a quiz that i have to turn in in 3 minutes
If you are doing a quiz, don't you think that the mark you should receive would be based on what you know? Isn't asking for help while you are taking a test cheating? What do you think?
no im allowed to. its not an actual like graded quiz its a "quiz" to see where i am at for myself but ive retakin it 3 times and i just cant figure it out
i keep getting answer C
Can you explain what you did to get that answer?
i was dividing the 17.03 by the 2.67, thats what the note showed me.
i just submited it
You know the mass of ammonia. The first step would be to figure out how many moles of ammonia are available.
4
is that right? i leterally know nothing
If you want to learn how to do this stay with me for a while. I will explain the steps. Follow along. Find the number of moles of ammonia available. Do this by dividing the mass of the ammonia by its molar mass. Can you do that and see what you get?
do you have an email? my class gets out in 5 minutes. could you email me help?
my emial is analysa.bonifas@yahoo.com

mole= mass/ Molecular mass u have both values for NH3
4NH3 + 5O2--> 4NO + 6H2O if u look at the ratio between NH3 and O2 you will see that its 4:5 (coefficients)
now that mean the mole you get is ----4 mole of O2----5 so mole of O2= (5* mole that you got in previous calculation)/ 4
1.25
i will message back when i get home. class is over
thank you that helped me alot!
okay :)
