The like terms are 9q^2 and 4q^2 (because the both have q^2's in them ) 9q^2 + 4q^2 can be simplified by factoring out the common factor = (9+4)q^2 = . . . q^2

yes...first one is b as far as the second question, which set has even numbers from 1 to 19 ? Even numbers are 2,4,6,8..etc. You should be able to do this one.
