A system of equations is shown below: 2x = 5y + 4 3x - 2y = -16 What is the solution to this system of equations? (-8, -4) (8, 4) (-4, -8) (4, 8)
@mathmale
@No.name plz help me when u are able to madal awarded
Dude i am going to sleep , sorry wish to help you but it is like 2 in the midnight
ok ty anyways :)
(-8,-4)
hey tysm but can u plz explain :D:D
You can try substitution or elimination method, do you know either of these?
I know the elimination but not substitution
Okay so lets try eliminations. Times the top by 3 and the bottom by -2, then combine them.
try to make from equation one a value to Y with respect to X and then plug it in equation two to get X value then by applying the value of X in any of the 2 equations you can find Y value and then you can find the (x,y) !! soo easy
did you get it ?
not really still trying to figure it out im really not good at this :/ iv been working on this since this morning and I cant think straight
actually no choice is right !!
but there has to be an answer
idk but i`ll give you the strategy
but first be sure that you copied the choices correctly
Alright, so this one is easy, it's only 2 :)
We'll use substitution since it's basically set up for it haha. 2x= 5y+4 first thing, you want to isolate x, do that now for me please, and tell me what you get.
i know but every time i try to solve them i get solutions different from the ones given above !! try it your self @iambatman
Sure
@Hamoody1996 I got one of the answers.
Anyways, @geekfromthefutur can you do what I asked?
then its good for you @iambatman
