A 14.5 gram sample of gas is found to have a volume of 1.1 liters at 275 K and 1.3 atm. What is the molar mass of this gas? Show all of the work used to solve this problem.

PV= nRT You have P, V, R and T given for you P= 1.3 atm V= 1.1 L R= constant value = 0.08206 T= 275 K n= X mole find n using the formula written above now you have mole and you are given mass thus you can use formula mole= mass/ Molar mass Molar mass= mass/mole substitute the values into the formula and get the molar mass Hope it helps :)
