now take square on both sides..to remove sqrt. and then solve it for x.
you will get x=9

ok..see...

taking square on both sides..

$$(\sqrt{\frac{ x }{ 4 }})^2 = 3^2$$

now square and sqrt are cncled by each other so the term left is 


=>$$\frac{ x }{ 4 }=9$$

now multiply both sides by 4 to make x denominator free...!!then

$$\frac{ x }{ 4 }\times4=9\times4$$

x=9times4=36

=> x=36
