What type of radiation is emitted when polonium-212 forms lead-208?

OpenStudy (matt101):

Polonium has an atomic number of 84 and lead has an atomic number of 82, meaning 2 protons have been lost. However, the atomic mass of the atom has gone by 4 amu, from 212 to 208. This means 2 neutrons were also lost. Together, 2 protons and 2 neutrons form a helium nucleus, which is also called an alpha particle. The radiation is called alpha radiation.
