Carbon-14 has 6 protons and 8 neutrons; which element has 6 protons and 7 neutrons? C-13 Si-14 C-6

OpenStudy (somy):

proton number shows which element it is C-14 has 6 protons and the element they are asking for also has 6 protons which means they both are C atoms BUT are ISOTOPES neutron+proton= mass 8+6= 14 is mass for the first C now they are saying its 6 protons and 7 neutrons so add them up and get a mass for the isotope of C

OpenStudy (somy):

is it clear?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's Si-14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it has 2 be

OpenStudy (anonymous):

silcon has 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nvm ur right

OpenStudy (somy):

x.x alright idk how it has to be Si- 14 while 6+7= 13 and its isotope of C so its C-13

OpenStudy (somy):

oh okay

OpenStudy (somy):
