What is the molarity of a solution that contains 5.0 moles of solute in 2.0 liters of solution?

OpenStudy (abmon98):

Number of moles=Molarity*Volume

C=n/ v where C is molarity n no.of moles and v volume as 1 litre= 1 dm3 so 2 litre=2dm3 therefore putting in formula we get 5/2 = 2.5
