The distance between two points is given by the expression: Be: \[A(x,y,z)=A_x + A_y + A_z\] and \[B(x,y,z)=B_x+B_y+B_z\] two points in R3 The distance is equal to the norm of the vector that is formed so: \[D(AB)=\sqrt((B_x-A_x)^2+(B_y-A_y)^2+(B_z-A_z)^2) \] For your points: A(-16,15)-> \[A_x=-16\] \[A_y=15\] \[A_z=0\] The same for B(-11,-3)
