OpenStudy (superhelp101):

Rubbing alcohol evaporates from your hand quickly, leaving a cooling effect on your skin. Because evaporation is an example of a physical property, how do the molecules of gas compare to the molecules as a liquid?

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

The gas particles have a stronger attraction between them and move slower than the liquid particles. The gas and liquid particles have the same structure and identity but different motion and kinetic energy. The bonds inside the molecule are broken, and atoms move closer together as evaporation occurs. The bonds are broken, and atoms spread apart as the alcohol changes phase from liquid to gas.

@Abhisar

OpenStudy (abhisar):

What do u think it should be ?

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

i think The gas and liquid particles have the same structure and identity but different motion and kinetic energy. i really don't savvy this one

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Yes u r correct ! \(\huge\checkmark\)

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Solid, liquid and gases all are different states of same substance. If substance is same then the structure of their particles also must be same. The only difference between the particles of different state is that they have different kinetic energies and due to which posses different motions. Like gase particles due to high kinetic energy performs brownian or random motion.

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

this explains it all! thank you ≧◉◡◉≦

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Hey check this ! \(\large\sf Celsius~to~fahrenhite~converter~\href{javascript:function toCelsius(f){return (f * 1.8)+32;}var x=prompt('Enter temperature in celsius scale');var num1 = parseInt(x);alert('Temperature in fahrenhite scale will be ' + toCelsius(num1) +'°');}{Click~Here}\)

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

wow! that's convenient. do you make this cool things?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Yep ! \(\huge\sf\color{green}{\text{✌゚\(\ddot\smile\) ✌゚}}\)

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

ô‿ô how??

OpenStudy (abhisar):

It's programming. I used javascripting.

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

oh okay!!!
