Which two parts of Dalton's atomic theory were disproven, and who/what disproved them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

His beliefs were that atoms could not be split. That is what was disproved. Dalton said that all atoms of one element are identical. They are chemically identical but not identical in mass. i have some notes. Let me look through to see who disproved them

Thank you soooooo much

J.J. Thomson proved that electrons exist, thereby showing that there is more to atoms than the single indivisible hard spheres that Dalton imagined. And Ernest Rutherford proved that atoms consist mostly of empty space, and by showing that atoms can be split.
