OpenStudy (anonymous):

The molar mass of sucrose (C12H22O11) is 342.3 g/mol. A chemist has a 0.500-mol sample of sucrose. What is the mass, in grams, of this sample?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to start this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no clue actually

OpenStudy (abmon98):

Number of Moles=Mass(g)/Molar Mass(g/mol)

OpenStudy (asib1214):

in one mol of sucrose there are 342.3 grams, if there is half a mol of sucrose. you basically divide 342.3grams by two. and you should get 171.15 grams
