What you're going to need to do is simplify \(\sqrt{48}\) and \(\sqrt{54}\). To do this, we note that \(48=16\cdot 3\) and \(54 = 9 \cdot 6\). Thus, \(\sqrt{48}=\sqrt{16\cdot 3}=\sqrt{16}\sqrt{3} = 4\sqrt{3}\) and \(\sqrt{54}=\sqrt{9\cdot 6} = \sqrt{9}\sqrt{6} = 3\sqrt{6}\). Therefore, \(7\sqrt{3}-4\sqrt{6}+\sqrt{48}-\sqrt{54} = 7\sqrt{3}-4\sqrt{6}+4\sqrt{3}-3\sqrt{6}\). What do you get when you simplify things now? :-)

now you add the \[7\sqrt{3}+4\sqrt{3}\] and then you subtract the \[-4\sqrt{6}-3\sqrt{6}\] which comes out to be \[11\sqrt{3}-7\sqrt{6}\]
